This webinar explores how European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are adopting and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen their competitiveness. Participants will hear directly from companies about their experiences, challenges, and solutions, while gaining insights into the resources, tools, and support available across Europe.

By bringing together business leaders, technology experts, and other ecosystem players, the webinar will provide a platform for exchange, collaboration, and mutual learning.

Agenda

  • Opening and introduction. This session frames the workshop with an overview of the FORSEE research initiative, key preliminary results, and participant introductions.
  • AI solutions made in Europe. European businesses present their AI-driven innovations, followed by an interactive discussion on practical applications, opportunities, and barriers to adoption.
  • Workshop Parallel Sessions (x2). Breakout sessions designed to engage participants in smaller groups.
    • Building the foundations for AI competitiveness: this session will explore technical infrastructure, data accessibility and organizational readiness to support AI-driven innovation.
    • Creating an enabling environment for AI adoption: examine the broader framework and support structures that influence SME competitiveness with AI in Europe.
